DESCRIPTION
Great for Small Flocks! Safe-Guard AquaSol poultry dewormer is indicated for the treatment and control of adult and larval intestinal worms in both broiler and laying chickens. Safe-Guard AquaSol is the most effective treatment for nearly all types of internal parasitic worms affecting poultry.
Safe-Guard AquaSol is effective against adult stage and larval: roundworms (Ascaridia spp.), cecal worms (Heterakis spp.), threadworms (Capillaria spp.), and the most common species of tapeworm affecting poultry, (Choanotaenia spp. as well as Raillietina spp.).
Safe-Guard AquaSol (20%) has NO Egg Withdrawal Period.
Each mL of Safe-Guard AquaSol contains 200 mg of Fenbendazole. Safe-Guard AquaSol must be administered orally to chickens via drinking water at a daily dose of 1 mg/kg BW (0.454 mg/lb) for 5 consecutive days.
This is NOT the large 1 L bottle!
This is a small, 9 ml bottle.
DOSAGE + ADMINISTRATION:
Safe-Guard AquaSol must be administered orally to chickens via the drinking water at a daily dose of 1 mg/kg BW (0.454 mg/lb) for 5 consecutive days with the medicated water being the ONLY water available to them.
DOSE CALCULATIONS
The daily dose of 1 mg fenbendazole per kg bodywheight (0.454 mg/lb) is equivalent to 0.005 mL Safe-Guard® AquaSol per kg bodyweight (0.00227 mL/lb). The required daily volume of product is calculated from the total estimated body weight [kg] of the entire group of chickens to be treated. Please use the following formula:
